Bre & Matt are in their first year of adventuring, building togetherness, and lovingly creating their lives together. This is such an exciting time for them, and it was an honor to capture this part of their journey. Matt was admittedly a little nervous to do his first photo session, and the truth is that most people are! Thats A-OKAY and a totally natural response... getting your photo taken doesn't usually come so naturally, but these two could seriously pass for professional models. They were fearlessly lovin' on each other and going for all of the quirky prompts I suggested. One of my favorites was, "hold hands and flap your wings like one giant butterfly!." Luckily, I didn't scare Matt off with my prompts but he actually expressed that "this was not at all what he expected" which always makes me super happy to hear! We worked carefully with the setting Oregon sun, to capture the perfect golden hour lighting with the epic mountain range behind them. The Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway is one of my favorite places around Bend and offers a variety of landscapes - from ultra blue lakes, rivers, mountains, hikes, and meadows - it's always sure to impress me!
